How to make a gift of cash
You can make a secure credit card donation online, or, if you prefer, mail a check. Please make the check payable to "LJI" or "La Jolla Institute for Immunology" and let us know if you would like your gifts used for a specific purpose by indicating so either in the memo line or in a letter to us. Please mail it to:

More on gifts of cash
Did you know that you can mail a check at the end of the year? Your deduction is based on the postmark date. We encourage you to send a check three or four days before December 31 to be sure the Post Office places a December postmark. Even if the December postmarked envelope is not received by La Jolla Institute for Immunology until after the new year, the IRS will allow you to take a deduction for this year. Thank you for your year-end gift!
